When May My approached Acast with the idea of launching a podcast, I saw an opportunity to align the release with her upcoming book launch—maximizing audience traction from day one. I developed a five-month lead launch strategy to build momentum.

During this time, I oversaw the entire podcast packaging—from visual branding and editorial tone to episode flow, structure, and editing. Leading up to launch, I drove promotional efforts across Acast’s network, secured features on top Danish podcasts, placed articles in key media outlets, and ensured high-visibility promotion on both Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

The result? A breakout success: 80,000 listens in the first 7 days and 120,000 within the first 30. The podcast continues to follow the release schedule, structure, and strategy I originally designed.
